This week's Pub Night email comes to us from Tarik.
Greetings to all you glorious people out there in Radioland,
Tarik Najeddine coming at you this week for a special occasion. On February 10th, 2010, I'd like to invite everyone out to the 12th Street Ale House to raise a glass to the coming of Spring, the coming of Valentine's Day, and the coming of my entry into his Late 20's. While the rather auspicious event of being a perfect cube will occur on Feb 15th, in anticipation (and cause it would be harder to get you all out on President's Day), this Wednesday, please come forth and enjoy with me and the rest of the Pub Night Battalion.
The bar in question is a local favorite, opened a few years ago, that's developed a small but content following. With twelve beers including Magners, Allagash White, and a few other good choices, we'll be able to set up shop at 7:30 and pretty much take over the place. We'll have the entire back room starting out and then start developing colonies as needed. While food is not served, any and all food from outside will be allowed, and I'll probably be given free-reign over the sound system in case you guys want to bring cds/iPods.
