This week we return to Clandestino, one of our favorite little spots, and I will now plagiarize a significant amount of the email that I sent a year ago when we last went there.
The bar, located a few blocks below Delancey, is the perfect spot for a clandestine rendezvous-- or a lively evening with twenty of your closest friends.
Six taps pour excellent brews such as Guinness, Jever, and Pilsner Urquell. The specialty cocktails made with fresh ingredients are yummy and strong. The small but powerful selection of French and Spanish wines encourage pairings with cheese and charcuterie plates. If you are hungry for something different they have a big folder of delivery menus.
So come on down to where the LES meets Chinatown (no the neighborhood nickname BelDel did not catch on), shake off your winter blues, and join us for warm company and warming drinks.
Cheers,
Rebecca & Vineel & Jaye
PS: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 24-- it's Pubnight's 14th Anniversary! Per tradition, the festivities will be held at Swift's Hiberian Lounge, location of the very first Pubnight.
