You are cordially invited to Pubnight's 14th anniversary!
Per tradition, it will be held at Swift Hibernian Lounge, the location of the very first Pubnight back in March of '96. I don't need to describe the place do I? Well, for the newbies and the lurkers, it's a notch above the average Irish pub, with an incredible international beer selection that requires multiple handwritten chalkboards to list, excellent classic pub grub, and, crucially, a pulpit that is perfect for making silly toasts and tipsy speeches (we promise to keep it short).
Our official start time will be 8 pm, as there is an earlier party ending at 7:30. We have the middle and one side of the back room reserved. The other side of the room will be strangers wondering at the bacchanalian cult they have stumbled upon.
I'll attempt to avoid making strained analogies about Pubnight being a teenager (but it loves you SO MUCH and why won't you call?). We are, however, on the cusp of a new stage in the history of Pubnight, and have some important announcements to make. Not least of which is to congratulate Vineel and Stephanie as they near parenthood! (And recede from PN regular-hood.) So come find out how you can you can play a part of the future of PubNight.
