Good afternoon Pub Night,
It looks like it's going to be rainy and generally unpleasant tomorrow. So I said to myself, "Self, where can we go that will be near the train and have plenty of space for all of Pub Night?" Admittedly, the first place I thought of was the gay bar in the small Indiana town where I grew up. But for some reason, that just doesn't seem the right venue for Pub Night. Not enough of a tacky Moroccan lounge going on there. So instead I have select the repeat of the Fat Black Pussycat, which we haven't been to in five years.
Tipping the scales in TFBP's favor is a coupon I have obtained for half-off their delicious cocktails after 8pm. Be sure to arrive early to cash in on the deal. With 30+ special cocktails, there's one for everyone, even those of you crankypants who argue that true martinis should be made with gin, and not flavoured vodka. I don't know about you, but I personally plan on drinking enough to fill a Big Gulp.
