You'll forgive my being a bit more to-the-point than usual today, but I had an email for another place mostly finished, only to go back to the Citysearch reviews and finally notice that the last year or so of reviews were flat-out pans. Except for the ones on top, all written on the same day by anonymous users. Yeeeah. Not going there on my watch, kids. I followed that up by starting an email for a place that looks on second glance like it's got a serious douchebag infestation.
Jaye put it well: "Drinking is hard."
So enough with all the EFFORT. We're going back to a place that's worked well in the past, Boss Tweed's. Good neighborhood, good attitude, back garden for those who insist on fresh air. Someone else can worry about finding new and exciting locales; I'm just here for getting my drink on.
