PubNight #748 (1/26/11) - King's Head Tavern

Previous PubNights PubNight Home

It's time for a fine, fine winter PubNight tradition: drinking while ice pellets fall out of the sky. This is especially fortuitous for those of you who enjoy your spirits on the rocks.

In consideration for the weather tonight, I've picked an old reliable standby that is conveniently near multiple subway stations. King's Head Tavern boasts a varied draft list, plenty of space for all us crazies, and a variety of food options nearby. (Kings do a lot of boasting, I've read.) I also seem to remember from previous visits that the non-beer drinkers had some cocktails they liked, but since I don't consider non-beer drinkers people, that may not be relevant.

And lo, I see we were last there for PubNight #648. Exactly 100 PubNights ago. Clearly, it's fate. If you know what it signifies, please let me know.

Stop on by. You'll need a drink or seven to fortify yourself before making the trek home.
