Deep fried Mars Bar. Wild boar bangers and mash. Local NY beers and wines. D'Espana store (Ricky, Jay, BFC pointing this out for you). Easy parking (that's for my benefit). Chinatown. Little Italy. Bowery chic.
These are just a smattering of the things that you can find at or within steps of Brinkley's, a British gastropub, located in Soho. The place is conveniently located near so many train lines-- if your train stops at Prince, Spring, Canal or Lafayette, you're within walking distance.
I pass this place everyday on my way to work. For at least a year, since it opened, I've been thinking that PubNight would work at this place. I have never been there. So, I really don't know, but all signs point to yes. It has a lounge atmosphere. It has room enough for us. The menu looks more appetizing than your usual pub fare.
A love of mystery, discovery and a compass did wonders for Louis and Clark... let's make an adventure out of it! And, if all else fails, we'll go to Gatsby's on Spring for the backup.
