Ladies and gentlemen,
Guess what? It's Oktoberfest. You know what that means! Beer garden! Except that it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Rain, I tell you! Did I not remember to clear my plans with God? I have been pretty busy lately, but this seems inexcusable for me.
So instead of my wonderful oktoberfests, we'll have to indulge in one of my other passions. No, not that; get your mind out of the gutter. Of course I mean the other alcohol: whiskey.
For reasons I do not understand, Pub Night has not (officially) been to this LES whiskey bar in ten years. I'm sure a reason will present itself tomorrow, and humiliate me, but in the meantime I shall dream of whiskey. The bar has a lovely selections of whiskeys, and a decent tap. As a nice bonus, you can get a 1 ounce pour of whiskey for half price. That would have been good the other week when James talked me into ordering some sticky-sweet Colorado whiskey that I couldn't get rid of fast enough.
Also check their twitter feed for the daily special, often a whiskey and draft for cheap.
I'll probably be watching the Yankees game, but y'all are used to that.
