PubNight #814 (5/2/12) - Loreley Williamsburg

Previous PubNights PubNight Home

Please join me once again this year in Brooklyn for my birthday PubNight. We'll be gathering at Loreley Williamsburg, sister restaurant to Loreley Manhattan. There is beautiful indoor as well as sufficient outdoor space if the weather is nice.

Loreley is named after the legendary siren who sits on a rock high over the Rhine and lures mariners to their death. Loreley Williamsburg has a great selection of German beers and wines to lure you to Brooklyn to drink away the stress of that Wednesday workday. In addition to Kölsch, the beer of Cologne, which is served in the typical narrow glasses, about 20 major German beers are available on tap or bottled, as well as German wines and a selection of other spirits.

***Loreley can be easy to pass by as it is surrounded by a brick wall on the corner across from the BQE. If coming from the Lorimer L stop, exit at Lorimer & Metropolitan, walk North on Lorimer towards Conselyea, keep going under the BQE, then take a right along Meeker/ BQE towards Frost and it will be on the left, enter through a gate between the building and the brick wall just before you get to the BQE into the patio area. If you go too far on Lorimer turn right on Frost and you can enter on the other side to the right in the same fashion.

Look forward to seeing you all!
