I'm wondering why I bother commemorating my birthday anymore, given that I have now had enough of them that they are officially old hat, and that I have proven time and again that I don't need excuses to drink. Nevertheless this is my birthday week and I intend to take my birthday PubNight. Feel free to marvel openly at the fact that I am still alive.
We were at American Retro less than a year ago, but I think attendance was slightly depressed owing to cold weather. Surely weather will not be an issue in July. Besides, there's an entire menu devoted to Tater Tots. That's worth a little trek. (Also: cheap as hell, very decent kitchen, nice people, etc.)
