Dear Pubnight,
I considered holding this week in anniversary of either the ending of the siege of Alesia, or the first successful A-4 rocket flight. While these are indeed wonderful reasons to gather and imbibe, after much consideration, I found a more essential celebration that needed to happen.
I've been 34 for several months now, and I'm finally getting the hang of it. While I entirely ignored the day in May, I'll embrace the unbirthday tradition and return to Brooklyn's Project Parlor-- an island of grilling and wonderful cocktails in nearly the middle of nowhere!

Grilling note: I'm planning to show up with plates, forks, napkins, rather a lot of meat, and slabs of assorted vegetables for cooking. Plus possibly cole slaw and/or potato salad. If there's anything you specifically want, let me know to get it.
