Dear Pub Nighters,
First, I'm glad to have heard from most of you that you're okay. Some powerless, internetless and damp, but otherwise okay.
Second, weathering a hurricane is thirsty business, I tell you! My beer supply is running low, and we're out of rum. (Ok, I finished the open bottle, we have a second). It was therefore UNTHINKABLE to cancel Pub Night, even given the current state of affairs. However given the current transit situation, it also seems unrealistic to gather the masses all in one location. In an unprecedented move, the Pub Night Powers that Be have decreed a "Choose Your Own Adventure" night!
We'd like to encourage you to pick a local/convenient (open?) bar to patronize, and then publicize your choice to others in your 'hood via Facebook, email, Twitter, Foursquare, semaphore, smoke signals, really animated sign language, or your other social media of choice. We are certainly an organized and grown-up enough group to come together in smaller enclaves and drink socially in our own boroughs. If one person at each venue wants to volunteer to keep attendance, we can even have a full attendance list!!!
I can announce FOUR official locations, since the Upper Crosstown Side, Park Slope, Bay Ridge and Astoria teams have already spoken! But by no means should you feel compelled to join one of these groups, if it's not safe or convenient for you!

Cuz an Upper West Side Party: 7:30pm (Likely be there at 7)
Stops at about 10pm: Yes, Food. So Much Food.
