This week, we are celebrating my birthday, somewhat early. We'll be enjoying the tasty wines and charcuterie of Bay Ridge's owl Owl's Head Wine Bar, my local bar of choice, and where I chose to get my drink on during our "choose-your-own-adventure" post-hurricane pubnight on Halloween.
It is a fantastic spot, truly worth the schlep down to Bay Ridge. If you choose to take a pass on this one, however, I completely understand. I just really like the idea of pubnight walking distance from home. Besides, if we stay out late enough at holiday pubnight in a few weeks, you can all wish me (and Rebecca) a proper happy birthday on my actual birthday.
