Happy Independence Day, lambs. Unlike last year, we're fortunate enough in '13 to have the big day fall on Thursday instead of Wednesday--no competition with fireworks and barbecues, and you get to sleep off your hangover (well, your first one) in proper fashion. Better still, I'm designating this PN as my official BIRTHDAY PN. And you know what happens to people who attend my birthday PN? Guaranteed sex. (I mean, not necessarily from ME, but the good karma should be sufficient to make it happen. And I know people, so if you want...OK, off topic.)
The place: American Retro. Not exactly unique, but outstanding in just about all respects (cheap as hell, good bar, good menu, good service), and my personal favorite. We're just under one year since our last visit, which is technically against the rules. But to hell with your rules, man. Rules have no place on my birthday.
