The very first bar that popped up in Google when I did an idle search for something for this week? Hardware, the gay bar down the block from us. I cannot tell you how tempted I was to call it kismet. But no, I think most of us will be happier if I choose something a little more mainstream (and a lot closer to the subway). We'll do a toast to Illinois just to gay it up a little.
We haven't been to Lincoln Park in over a decade, when we were a very different PubNight. I think it probably deserves better--cheap, unpretentious, and spacious, all things that are high on my wish list.
