Despite having moved across the Hudson a year ago, I've spent seriously little time exploring my local drinking options. I've passed HopsScotch dozens of times, and always thought "that place looks really tempting!" -- but never went in.
That changed a week ago, and I've been back since then -- twice. The tap list is extensive (though outdated on the website.) The whisky selection is delightful. The food is delicious. And even during a special event, the place has never been oppressively crowded or noisy.
On top of this, we'll be taken care of by Pubnighter Kim, who is prepared to deal with all our shenanigans.
This place isn't any well-kept secret, but to me, it's a new discovery, and I want to share it with you all.
