With so much to be thankful for this year--good friends, loving family, competent coworkers--it's hard to settle on one overriding focal point for my gratitude. But one particular blessing does come to mind: the fact that enough of y'all are probably going to be out of town that I can choose a tiny little bar without fear that thirty-odd people will traipse through the door just as we've ordered food.
I've been wanting an excuse to drop into Orient-Express for quite a while; it's a charming little place with a sharp cocktail menu and, it seems, a decent kitchen. Factor in the not-bad pricing (for wine and food, at least; cocktails are more high-end but apparently worth it) and we have ourselves a likely winner! Now don't show up and let me enjoy it.
