My family has the odd Passover tradition of beginning the meal with gin and tonics.
"But Hannah!", you say, "Gin is not kosher for Passover!"
When I pointed this out to my family last year, they said, "Hannah, gin is made from juniper berries, sure it is!". They seriously did not know that gin is made from grain and *flavored* with juniper berries.
But we'll keep up with the liquor theme for this week's Pub Night, and go to Lillie's, where we last attended in 2009. A fine selection of cocktails, whiskeys. and of course some beers (and wine for those of you who are less lenient than my family). I have a reservation under my name.
