No, I'm not dead.
It occurs to me that PubNighters have a ton to be thankful for this year. While attention has naturally focused on the one wedding and three new kids (and counting), we've also seen people taking on new jobs, moving to new homes, building new lives. We're doing all right for ourselves this year. And while we know that many of you will be unable to attend, faced as you are with planes to catch and turkeys to deep-fry, rest assured that glasses will be lifted in everyone's honor on Thanksgiving Eve.
We're doing Orient Express for the second year in a row. Having sampled the cocktails and small plates, I can give the place a ringing endorsement--not cheap, but hell, this is an occasion that calls for the good stuff.
