PubNight #969 (6/3/15) - Farrell's Bar & Grill

You may have noticed in the upcoming schedule for Pubnights sent by Hannah last week that this week was claimed by Jeanette for a birthday pubnight. Not knowing that there was another Jannette/Jeanette in the pubnight crowd, I emailed Hannah yesterday to see if I accidentally reserved a pubnight in some sort of drunken stupor for a date that is actually about three months away from my real birthday. Hannah replied that there were two of us(!), but that the other one had canceled for this week. So, here I am, another Jannette hosting pubnight this Wednesday.

This week we'll be going to a classic bar in Brooklyn: Farrell's, which dates back to 1933. I have heard many fond memories of this place, but I haven't yet been there myself. Let's see what it's like together! Also, apparently, they have to-go cups for your beer, so you can drink while standing outside for a smoke.

• Janet: Despite the name, NO FOOD! but there's a pizza place next door, as well as other food options on the avenue.
