Dear PubNighters,
Welcome again from Jersey City! That's right, folks, we're bringing PubNight back to Jersey this week. There are a slew of birthdays this week, lemme take this opportunity to give a shout out to Ricky B (6/19), A. Delfi (6/17), Kim WC (6/13) and Chris K (6/20). Three of those folks still live in Jersey, so let's do PN in JC.
You'll note PubNight is starting earlier this week at 6 p.m. due to the attendance of our munchkin folk (I will bring a few toys to keep my little guy entertained). This week we are going to THE ROOF of PORTA, the pizza eatery one block from the Grove St. PATH station. PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT going to Porto Lounge, the Portuguese tapas lounge three blocks away. If you have walked further than one block from the PATH train station, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR and are headed to the wrong place.
Let's meet on the roof. If you are bringing a stroller, there is an elevator. Avail yourself of this fine feature.
The menu is different on the roof. No pizza and pasta, like on the main floor, but unctuous sandwiches and salads instead. It's less expensive :-) Beer, wine and alcohol abounds on the roof. Also, the weather looks good that night. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
