PubNight #977 (8/12/15) - Richmond County Ballpark (with baseball)

Pubnight!

This is the Pubnight you've been waiting for for 20 years! Next Wednesday, we will be ambushing the forgotten 5th borough, to drink at the only place near the ferry terminal to drink: Richmond County Ballpark. As an added bonus, accompanying our beers will be the Staten Island Yankees playing the Williamsport Crosscutters. Pubnight baseball!

For those of you concerned that you will be forced to watch a sport while drinking your beer, the SI Yankees only play baseball in the loosest sense. Please note that almost no one participating in the game is old enough to drink. These are all recent graduates who have been playing professional baseball for slightly more than a month. Remember how you were at your job when you were 21? Yeah, it's like that, but with baseball instead of computers.

A few more admin notes:

• Tickets will likely be $20 with all ticketmaster fees. This is for infield seats.
• It takes roughly 40 minutes to get from the Ferry terminal in lower Manhattan to the ballpark. I shall be catching the 6pm ferry, if you would like a leader. If you arrive after gametime and have pre-ordered tickets, text me on arrival and I'll pass you a ticket through the gate.

Please let me know by SUNDAY AUGUST 9TH if you plan to attend the game, or need to amend your attendance. I will be buying tickets Monday morning. Note that if you miss this date, you can still attend the game; we just cannot guarantee you will be sitting with us.
