Remember that lovely loft apartment we used to live in on 12th Street where we used to throw the awesome parties and host holiday Pubnight? You remember... it was years ago, before we had a baby and before we moved to New Jersey. Well, since my parents still own it, and aren't in New York for the holidays this year, we thought we'd take advantage. The baby will be sleeping in the back room, and we certainly won't be partying all night long like we used to, and the deli where everyone used to buy their beer on University and 13th Street is no more... but bring a six-pack of a beer and, for a few hours, turn back the clock. Remember such favorite times as the kitchen island completely covered in bottles... or the surprisingly smushy blue ottoman. Don't forget the nudes in the hallway while you're waiting to use the bathroom, or the freezer door that's hard to open and pinches your fingertips if you grab it in the most convenient place to put your hand.
Pubnight officially starts at 6:30pm, but not a big deal if you're a bit early.
And if none of this means anything to you, then show up and have a good time! Do bring beverages with you... we don't want to be bad kids and put too big of a dent into my parents' liquor cabinet.
