This week's sojourn is into Tribeca. Jimm's friend from Tribeca is joining us and Petro suggested a place in Tribeca. So, that's how the decision was made.
Reasons to celebrate:
The place is called the Blarney Star and pours a mean pint o Guiness. Petro's description:
"This is a classic New York neighborhood Irish pub. It's not hip or fancy, but it is comfortable. Fine wood bar, a few football (a.k.a. soccer) games on the tele, and a pint of Guiness that appropriately takes a few minutes to pour. Selection of burgers ($5 w/fries), beef/chicken dishes, or a few salads all for reasonable prices. Front room includes a table top bowling game."
Urban Access New York said, "A good place for a mellowing pint of Guinness to a rowdy jigging evening with the locals."
See you around 8:30.
