Wednesday Pub Night #84 - 8:00 at McBell's

Good morning,

Rather than give you all a guilt trip for last week's small turnout (3!), I figure we can, instead, buy Petro, Gregg and Young a beer tonight (ok, maybe a beer each would be better). Also, mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 17 - A Very Special PubNight. That's right - it's the Annual PubNight Holiday party. Location to be determined (you don't think we actually plan these things ahead of time, do you?)

But, what about tonight? A couple of months ago, a Greenwich Village bar called Uncle Charlies closed down. During the following six weeks, a crew (brought over from Ireland) built a new pub (all insides also brought over from Ireland) in its place. Petro, Laura and I stopped by the other night and it is a large, friendly, very Irish pub. They don't serve food, so eat before you get there. As I mentioned, it's a large place so look around for us if you don't see us up front.

Two-for-one drinks before 9pm, so let's plan on getting there at 8 (eat first).
