Sometimes (way too often), life has a way of taking a left turn from the right lane and forcing you to slam on the brakes. This is one of those times. Things have been difficult here over the past couple of weeks and I know they'll be difficult for weeks to come. Many extremely talented people and good friends are moving on.
Drinking as celebration doesn't seem appropriate today, and drinking to forget is never a good idea, so let's get together and drink to continuing friendship and to two birthdays.
