By PubNight-time, look to the Web for statistics on our evenings so far. Some tidbits:
This week, we'll be going back to TriBeCa to Riverrun Cafe. I keep hearing that this place is great, so it's about time we try it.
Riverrun Cafe
176 Franklin St
New York, NY 10013
(212) 966-3894
For the Brooklyn contingent - start lobbying. Let me know where we should go - the address and the appropriate subway lines.
A review of Riverrun, from www.nycbeer.org: "My fave place for a pint, riverrun, doesn't even HAVE an on-tap list, but I should, by the end of the week, be able to help you remedy that. If you overlook the hideous decor, it's a friendly, reasonably quiet place with great burgers, clambakes, chicken pot pies, fifteen taps (many of which change monthly), and great beer prices, especially during happy hour and after 11pm, and on their daily specials list, when the micros go down to $2.95 a pint! I'm beginning to sound like I'm in advertising, here, but I assure you that my only connection to the place is that I'm a very satisfied, repeat customer. I think I forgot to add, regarding Riverrun, that they even have free hard-boiled eggs at the bar. Thus one's protein and carbohydrate needs can be taken care of at the same time...end of advertisement."
We'll be there around 8:00pm.
