Back to the Pub Night home page
Well, I made it through the rain (there's a song there somewhere), the thunderstorms, the fog, and the sunshine (really), and I'm back in New York City (another song). Thanks to Petro for organizing last week's PubNight.
Steve (G, V), Clilly (D), Dan M (B) and Art J (G, V) have formed a band called Cranky and they will be playing at Spiral tonight. So, we'll be heading there to cheer them on. They are on around 8:15pm. There is a $5-6 cover to hear the music upstairs. The lineup for tonight, if you're interested in any other bands, is: Whispering Jessye, Cranky, Zoriada, KFO, Coney Island Rain, and The Erratics. We'll probably be hanging out downstairs after Cranky plays. If you get there late and downstairs is packed and we're not there, look for us down the street at Parkside Lounge (317 E Houston at Avenue B), home of PubNight #9.
Tonight is also the night of the Corporate Challenge run in Central Park. Kris and Laura will be running for Team Viacaom. So come by and buy them a drink.
Note that neither Sprial nor Parkside Lounge serves food, so wolf down a slice on your way out.
