Back to the Pub Night home page
When we first started this, we had agreed to avoid several places (such as Jeckyll and Hyde and Heartland Brewery). One of these places to avoid (Zip City) has since closed. In that location, last October, the Tap Room opened. This location (3 West 18th Street) was also the home of the National Temperance Movement. The new Tap Room is an Austrian restaurant and brewpub, specializing in (you guessed it) Austrian and German-style food and beer.
We'll be there around 8:00 tonight. Bring your steins.
After finding young, embarrassing picture of Jimm, we are now on the hunt for other embarrassing youth pictures. I know these exist for Stuart and Laura (and Dan...and Petro...and Jim), but let's see some more. All, of course, to be posted to the web site.
"There shall be in England seven halfpenny loaves sold for a penny; the three-hooped pot shall have ten hoops; and I will make it felony to drink small beer."
William Shakespeare
King Henry VI, Part II, Scene 2
See you tonight,
